DuBOIS — A $1.25 million state grant has been awarded for the Miracle Field in the City of DuBois in Clearfield County, according to state Sen. Joe Scarnati, R-Brockway.
The State Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program awarded $1.25 million dollars for the project, which will be put toward the Miracle Field to be located in the DuBois City Park where the girls softball field currently is and make it a state-of-the-art complex. A portion of the grant money will also be used to install artificial turf in the outfield of the current Showers Field Baseball Complex.
This $1.25 million grant is a very exciting development, which will provide substantial support for both fields, Scarnati said.
